About Green the City

Green the City is a collaboration between organisations and people who care about making greener, more resilient places happen across Wales.

It started because we realise we are far more powerful as a group. This is a movement where we can share ideas quickly, openly and in a way that reflects what’s happening on the ground. Although a lot of the team are based in Swansea, we work across Wales (and the UK).

This is a space to share what we’re working on, what’s working, what isn’t, and what others can learn from it. A place to be more open, more practical and a bit more honest about the challenges as well as the wins.

Most importantly, it’s about getting things done. Real projects, real places, real people and real progress in how we use green infrastructure and nature-based solutions across Wales.
