Swansea Council and Natural Resources Wales are exploring opportunities to create new green spaces in:<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

– Phillips Parade (outside The Westbourne)<\/p>

– Beach Street (at the crossroads)<\/p>

– St Helens Road (from the Courts to the Bay View Bar)<\/p>

These spaces will:<\/strong><\/p>

– Reduce the risk of flooding by soaking up rainwater<\/p>

– Clean polluted water before it reaches Swansea Bay<\/p>

– Make walking, wheeling and cycling routes safer and more pleasant<\/p>

– Cool our streets during hot summers and help clean the air we breathe<\/p>

– Bring more nature and wildlife to Sandfields<\/p>
